I think most of the people including you won't unfamiliar with this kind of name,"The Pearl of the Orient" and also fondly known as Penang.It's a great and wonderful place for those who loves food and loves to enjoy their life.Lots of hawkers started their work before the Sun beams out it's light from the horizon and of course,we could see so much of people inside the market that I can't figure out how many are them in the early morning.
On the 22nd of November,I reached my destination--Penang.After taking off my luggage and go out from the airport,Suddenly a pooom pooom sounds came and I saw a sport car come toward me.I wiped my eyes few times and I finally realized that one is my uncle and he drove a well-known Panamera Porsche and behind his car was BMW x6.Instantly,I feels like we are too tiny and money is the king and of course,I'm really green and envy with what they drive.
Besides Asam Laksa and Hokkien Mee,Penang Char Kuey Teow can also name with "The Must-try Food in Penang".It drifts out a types of fragrant smell which could hypnotize a person to sit down and order a plate to enjoy and me,I don't even know how much kuey teow that I have swollen down to my tummy.Besides that,just a plate of Char Kuey Teow isn't perfect,it has to accompany with a cup of concentrate coffee which called by locals "Kopi 99" just only can be name with Perfect "couple food".Although this type of food can be cooked or get in any high-class restaurants,it still lack of something which is really important,and its definitely is the, "feeling",in chinese we called that "感情“.Without this feeling,this Food is not so special already,but it is just an ordinary,simple Char Kuey Teow...
Many of the foreigners love to come to our Country especially Penang just because they can escape from the hustle and bustle city life and enjoy the warmth of our people.
In a plate of this warmth Char Kuey Teow,I saw and felt the real satisfaction and the happiness which most of the filthy rich guys can't get it.Fry a plate of Char Kuey Teow are so easy,but if want to fry a plate of "Human Touch" of Char Kuey Teow,need lots of 10 years,and even some of the high-class chef used all his time also can't fry a plate of this food.....Point just only one,its Sincerity.
